How to Start the Qiaoying of the Sacred Mountain Quest
To begin the Qiaoying of the Sacred Mountain quest in Genshin Impact, make sure you’ve completed the “Song of the Dragon and Freedom” Archon Quest. Then, unlock the Teleport Waypoint in the Upper Chenyu Vale region. This quest is a part of the “Chenyu’s Blessings of Sunken Jade” chain and introduces you to the local Adeptus, Fujin.
Quest Steps and Key Locations
- Escape Carp Rest:
After meeting Fujin, use your Adeptal Energy and the Golden Carp’s Leap mechanic to escape the domain and move between high platforms easily. This new traversal tool is part of Genshin Impact’s ongoing Chenyu Vale features. - Arrive at Qiaoying Village:
Head north from the Upper Vale waypoint. Don’t forget to unlock the Statue of The Seven for a wider map view. Visit Grandpa Lu in the village—he’ll detail recent soil and water problems and trigger the next part. - Visit the Tea Workshop:
Join the conversation with Jin and Uncle Luo at the workshop. Taste some teacakes and decide which batch is better. - Follow the Golden Carp:
Upon leaving the village, look for a Golden Carp to the left of the path. Follow it, and use Carp’s Leap to traverse ledges. This leads you to the Lotus Lamp puzzle area surrounded by Treasure Hoarders.
Qiaoying of the Sacred Mountain Puzzle Solution
- Defeat all Treasure Hoarders around the pond.
- Find the Lotus Lamp in the center.
- Use your Adeptal Energy on the Lotus Lamp to activate the puzzle.
- Solution:
Move and position the Lotus Lamp so it aligns with the five surrounding lanterns. When placed correctly, all lamps will light up at once.

Quest Progression and Rewards
Once you finish the Qiaoying of the Sacred Mountain puzzle, speak to Fujin again to proceed. She’ll initiate the Ancient Rainjade Ritual. Afterward, travel to Yilong Wharf, meet the Fontainian technician, and finish the first act of the Chenyu’s Blessings of Sunken Jade world quest line.
