Chasca – Full Kit Breakdown (Genshin Impact) 2026

Chasca is a 5-star Anemo Bow character from Natlan, introduced in Version 5.2. She’s a unique on-field DPS whose core identity is elemental bullet conversion — she deals Anemo damage but converts her shots into Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro based on your team composition.

Chasca – Full Kit Breakdown (Genshin Impact)

Normal Attack – Resonating Wingbrace

  • Tap: Four consecutive Bow shots dealing physical damage
  • Hold (Aimed Shot): Charged arrow that deals Anemo DMG on full charge
  • Plunge: Fires a shower of arrows mid-air before striking the ground for AoE DMG

Normal attacks are largely irrelevant to her DPS — her kit lives entirely in her Elemental Skill.

Elemental Skill – Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt

This is the heart of Chasca’s entire kit. Using the Skill, she resonates with her weapon, deals Nightsoul-aligned AoE Anemo DMG, gains 80 Nightsoul Points, and enters Nightsoul’s Blessing state.

While in this state, she hovers in the air and gains access to Multitarget Fire, which has two modes:

Tap – Shadowhunt Shells (Normal Attack Mode)

  • Fires Nightsoul-aligned Anemo DMG at enemies
  • Classified as Normal Attack DMG
  • Quick, mobile damage while airborne

Hold – Charged Shot (The Core Mechanic)

  • Chasca loads her magazine and enters aiming mode
  • She targets multiple enemies within range based on charge time
  • Fires up to 6 Shadowhunt Shells at release
  • The 4th, 5th, and 6th shells convert based on your team:
    • For each Pyro / Hydro / Cryo / Electro party member, one shell converts into that element’s damage
    • Converted shells deal that element’s Nightsoul-aligned DMG instead of AnemoThis means with 3 non-Anemo teammates (e.g., Pyro + Hydro + Cryo), all 3 converted shells deal different elemental damage — triggering Swirl reactions on every shot.

Shell firing order: Last In, First Out (LIFO) — the most recently loaded shell fires first.

Hold Skill (During Nightsoul State)

Holding the Skill during Nightsoul’s Blessing triggers a Nightsoul-aligned Plunging Attack. Releasing the Skill interrupts the plunge to maintain her airborne state. If she hits the ground, Nightsoul’s Blessing ends.

Elemental Burst – Galesplitting Soulreaper

Chasca channels her will and fires a single Galesplitting Soulreaper Shell — a powerful Nightsoul-aligned AoE Anemo projectile.

After impact, it splits into 6 Soulseeker Shells that seek out and strike nearby enemies. Similar to her Skill, shells convert based on team composition:

  • For each Pyro / Hydro / Cryo / Electro member → 2 Soulseeker Shells convert into Radiant Soulseeker Shells of that element
  • Radiant Shells deal elemental DMG and trigger Swirl reactions across the field

Passive Talents

Ascension 1 – Bullet Trick (Spiritbinding Conversion)

When Chasca triggers a Swirl reaction with her Shadowhunt Shells during Multitarget Fire, she gains the “Fatal Rounds” state:

  • Duration: 3 seconds
  • Effect: Next Multitarget Fire instantly completes its charge
  • +120% CRIT DMG on that instance of Multitarget Fire
  • Can trigger once every 3 seconds

This passive is what makes her rotation feel incredibly smooth — good play rewards you with instant charge windows constantly.

Ascension 4 – Nightsoul Transmission Passive

When Chasca’s Radiant Soulseeker Shell (from her Burst) hits an enemy, she regenerates 15 Energy and deals AoE elemental DMG equal to 400% of her ATK.

This can only trigger once per Burst use — but it’s a significant damage spike and solves a chunk of her energy needs.

Constellations

ConstellationEffect
C1After Multitarget Fire, all shells gain +20% DMG for 6s; stacks up to 6 times
C2When a Shadowhunt Shell hits, it deals extra AoE DMG equal to 200% ATK; once per Multitarget Fire use
C3Elemental Skill +3 levels
C4After Burst hits enemies, all party members gain +20% DMG for 15 seconds
C5Elemental Burst +3 levels
C6After Ascension 1 passive triggers, next Multitarget Fire CRIT DMG buff increases from +120% to +220%; also fires one extra Shadowhunt Shell

C2 and C6 are considered her most impactful constellations — C2 adds a huge burst of AoE damage, while C6 massively amplifies her already strong Fatal Rounds windows.

Key Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths:

  • Can trigger virtually any elemental reaction independently based on team comp
  • Airborne during Skill — avoids most melee enemy attacks
  • Works in almost any Pyro / Hydro / Electro / Cryo team
  • ATK Goblet is viable (easier to build than elemental DMG goblet)
  • Excellent exploration utility — hovers and flies over terrain

Weaknesses:

  • Loses significant value in Anemo or Geo teams (no elemental conversion)
  • Heavily reliant on teammate element variety for maximum shells to convert
  • Skill management and airborne playstyle has a slight learning curve

Talent Priority

  1. Elemental Skill – Her entire DPS output runs through this
  2. Elemental Burst – Good damage spike and energy refund
  3. Normal Attack – Skip until everything else is maxed

Chasca is essentially Genshin’s first true multi-element shotgun DPS — she doesn’t just deal Anemo damage, she becomes whatever your team needs her to be. Her kit rewards smart team-building and smooth rotation execution more than raw stat investment.
